Festivals that celebrate love are a staple of the Bandee Pakshee's commitment to the Star's culture. From Love is Love to Valentione's, Pakshee is proud to support the bright, shining unity between people. And Tanabata represents a unique look at love, as a story written in the stars themselves. Legends and myths of star-crossed lovers abound across Etheirys, from the Skatic goddess Lofn to the legendary play
I Want to Be Your Canary.

In the case of Tanabata, Orihime and Hikoboshi's love was so strong that it distracted them from their obligations and worldly affairs, so was opposed by the Lord of the Heavens, who split them so far apart that they became the most distant stars in the night sky. But the Lord of the Heavens saw the despair this inspired in his daughter Orihime. So he arranged for the lovers to meet but once per year, and the date of their meeting became celebrated as the Tanabata Festival.

As Hannish Tawaifs, bringing our culture and food to a festival located in nearby Hingashi is also an honored tradition for the Pakshee. Fusing the Near and Far East is something Pakshee is proud to do with both its Lotus and Verdant menus, and several of our Songbirds including Zana Ahkabila and Izayoi Keer.

Songbird Signature Curry
Gillyburger

A Thavnairian-style cheeseburger made with lamb patties spiced with ginger, garlic, masala and cumin, topped with fried paneer. Forget ketchup and mustard, this comes with mint coriander chuttney! Served with naan chips.

A Hannish-Hingan fusion much like Izzy Sapphira herself, the Royyala Teriyaki is shrimp stir-fry with a slight Thavnairian kick. Served over rice or noodles.

Classic Thavnairian curry served with rice. Your choice of succulently prepared meat or paneer, bathed in our house spices and served to your tolerance level.

Lominsan Blue Ramen

Using a special algae for color, this delightfully strange looking ramen is the favorite of Zana Akhabila. Comes with your choice of dumplings and Pakshee Mochi in mango, plain and blueberry flavors.

Hingan dumplings steamed or pan-fried to tender perfection and served with soy sauce

Classic Hingan Gyoza

A Doman dumpling dish of springy, steamed dough stuffed with meat, mixed vegetables, or bean paste. Mix and match your set of three!

Songbird Signature Lassi
The Madame Herself™

The signature drink of Pakshee's owner. Like Rommie, this drink is purple, delicious and will knock you flat on your ass. We think there's blue curacao in it, we assume that's pineapple juice, and we know there's an ice shard. Not sure beyond that. Very alcoholic.

The classical Thavnairian spiced tea, made by boiling black tea in milk with aromatic herbs and spices.


Masala Chai
